Servicing your VW Bay Window bus can see like a bit of chore in the excitement of the new spring season all ready upon us. Even Volkswagen appointed garages will only undertake a standard vehicle service and not consider the unique requirements of a 30+ year old air-cooled Volkswagen Bus.
 

Use a glass cleaner to wipe the area around the chip and allow it to dry. A rag has to be placed under the chipped area, this will prevent any surplus car auto glass repair substance from reaching the body paint or smearing the glass.

If you are using a system fix auto glass repair disc, boot the PC with that. Otherwise, after your PC has finished its BIOS sequence, hold down the F8 key. Choose Repair Your Computer from the Advanced Boot Options screen (below) and tap Enter.

Choose one and then click Restore. Windows Backup will begin restoring your files. If there any of the backup files will overwrite an existing file, you'll see the normal File Copy window shown below, which offers you a chance to overwrite, copy but keep both files, or don't copy.
